I'm new to this forum, but I thought, maybe you would help me archieving an "Living Dead" look on this model. It's supposed to be on challenge, from one of polish forums. I'm trying to find best balance, between grotesque, gothic look and dead...well...just dead look :D
Looking forward to hear all about, what is wrong or which way to go further.

What about the eyes?
If he is dead, the skull and bones must be there, under but arising (do you speak spanish?)
I like his look. Is he in bed with his shoes?
Maybe the skin should be ripped in parts.

Well, we (i mean, all who participate in challenge) received a subject, and very precise interpretation, so I don't want to go do a ripped zombie, or other mummy. I want to show my own interpretation for subject "Living Dead". I was recently influenced by Miyazaki's "Princesss Mononoke" and "Spirited Away", and his versons of gods, and spiritual world. Well, this guy is mean to be the god, who is awakening after long time of being dead. Most of things will be shown through shading and texturing, so please, stay tuned.
PS: Unfortunatelly, I don't speak Spanish. I know Serbian, Polish, English, a little bit of French, but Spanish is unknown to me. I hope I will learn it after French, cuz it seems similar a little bit to me.

O yeah...those darn eyes. I plan to make him eyes extreme closed, so there would be a oppourtunity to do few good looking details in this area.

Nice, Why are you modelling everything in one piece?

Because character is attached to this cloth, he and this cloth are integral part. I mean, he is some kind of spiritual god, that was awakened, after lying on great area of ground. Where he lyies, ground is made of cloth.

Very deep man!
I don't know if you want something more like a ghost or like a mummy. I have no problems with his eyes. Actually, mummies have no eyes.
In Mexico we have a very disturbing museum (www.mummytombs.com/mummylocator/group/guanajuato.htm).

I've made corrections in head mesh, and added lights, that might be looking similar in final piece.
I will soon as it is possible start modelling closed eyes.
