argh... so busy all the time. I just picked this back up and started working a few days ago... certainly not done, but this is a start - just to say that I'm still here :)
as always, regardless of...
Nibbuls & tzktime: Thank you for the kind and inspiring words :)
Reivaj: Thank you very much, Reivaj. I'll try to fix the back legs before my next update...which will hopefully be soon.
sorry...
aw man, I too was looking forward to your new work. In any case, good luck with your freelance work and such.
agreed, gabriel, you have a very detailed entry with a nice style :)
don't lose motivation, it looks excellent
Wow, this is excellent. I really like the detail you have put into each of the components of your scene thus far. Well done, I can't wait to see your helmet when it's fully detailed. I have one...

I think the rules are that everything for this challenge must be made within the time constraints of the contest.
I must agree, the suit of armor looks excellent, why aren't you going to use a similar HDRI map in the final?
the dragonhead is already taking nice shape and if you can capture that excellent...
Russo, this is looking pretty good, one thing though, the dwarf doesn't seem to look dynamic enough, he still looks pretty much static. I think the problem is mostly stemmed from the movement in his...
I agree, this looks excellent, juhone. By far one of the best entries in the competition I've seen so far, in my opinion. good luck. I really like where this is going.
okay things are starting to run a little bit more smothly, so I brought up Zbrush and modeled my dragon-head for the chimera. It doesnt, though, have the horns, eyes, or teeth, those will come later...

This looks very nice, Dorian. I like the style you've got with your creatures. Interesting technique to use such shaders to experiment with the volume of the model. I'll be looking forward to seeing...
Agreed, that competition is very tempting. True, though, it's probably wisest to stick with one competition at a time :D
Juhone, I'm really looking forward to your next update. I'd like to see a...
This looks excellent. There's an interesting and different style to your dragon- very nice. Keep up the good work.
Kutuk : ah yes, this is true, but im not sure how the fur I'm going to put on there will affect it... I'll probably have to do some adjustment to the definition. Thanks for pointing that out.
Kutuk: Thanks, man :) I hope you're right :D
Sorry guys, I have been having very strange internet issues, but I here's what I have so far on the body of my Chimera. Hopefully my entry will begin...
Greetings Juho,
this is looking very nice, i must say. The only faults i see in the model are in the hands and the ears. The ears seem a bit too flat and dont hold the amount of form ears...
I'm not sure how I passed this one up before. Awesome work, Gabriel, it looks excellent so far. No crits from me.
