Dragon Rider doesnt explore only the story of a character fullfilling quests, it is also a call to society for examining their behavior, such as where does the corruption of politics and religious dogmas have led into destruction and the need of protecting the axis of life in nature. The backround of the plot pulls within numerous facts of history, linking them to legends from different cultures. The story took an enormous anthropological and biological research to find and to highlight the essence of the characters and their social groups Each drawing involves a strong symbolic weight in both the elements portrayed and the colors used. The story is intended to drive readers through moral complexity and ethical dilemma, to understand the myths created by human kind and the heroes who incarnate them. This graphic novel, composed by three books: A New Prophecy, Forge of Destiny and The Final Conflict targets mainly teenagers and adult readers of fantastic literature
and has the intention to portray in a complete form, rationally and convincingly a whole different world from ours, but also to give us a lesson of life and prosperity in our real world.
