      hi everyone,

I just finished my reel here at VFS and I would like to share my work.
I spent 5 months and 2 weeks working on this reel, based on an idea that my fiancee's mothers gave me before going to school.
The idea was to represent a fresco in 3dimensions, so i took a lot of references from masters like Michelangelo and Raphael Santi for drawing mine, of course not as much detailed but good enough to grab attention and most importantly, not so complicated for being realizable in this short amount of time.
Realized with Maya, Mari for the character textures, Nuke, Zbrush, AE, Premiere, Photoshop, Shave & Haircut.

hope you like it! C&C are welcome!

Great detail in the models, and I also like the way you show your demoreel, the camera movements are nice, the only flow I see is the skin shader, great work and thanks for sharing!

      Very nice.
It's a very good way to show your modelling skills. I suggest that in your break down you add some turn tables. It's very important to see the topology of your models since those make a huge difference in the rigging process as well as render times.

      thank you fernamo.
I'm considering shortening the demo and add some turntable, also started working on a creature to enlarge my area of specialization.
So as soon as my creature is done I'm going to recompile all of that and orient it in a more technical aspect, less artistic...
      thanks for the tip!
