Night Street
software: cinema 4d
time: 4 hours and 2 days with many breaks for fine tuning
no hand drawn textures and no photo textures used, only shader used.
the muse kissed me when.....
when i was on return trip from my homeland where my girl friend lives. She finished our relationship.I was sad. I had 8 hours of car driving in front of me. Enough time to make the surrounding work on my mind mixed with the dear grief. I tried to distance from the pain in my heart and got more and more attracted to the never ending rythm of the street. The pulsating city skylinges. I got inspired by the journey. you look onto the street and watch the things travel besides you. The Center of your view is illuminated by your head lights, the edge melts in a black coat, so that the center gets your focus. It hypnotizes you. That Image captured in my mind had something attractive , something melancholic, that i tried to capture for life in this 3d still. This is the best result i could gain from my memories and i am contently.

# 2wow .. gr8 work !!! i like the street and the clouds.. but.. 2 things .. the moon is very fake and you can move it to de left or right because the scene looks so perfect ... i think it looks bether to the right .. something like ths ...
and some mountains in the horisont can look nice... buy im not as good in photoshop to put mountains behind the light cables lol ... sorry for my english .

# 8I really love it!!! just one thing, the Highlight at the horizon it is too much for me. maybe if you change the color of the light to be like tungsten or some orange it will be more look-like city far far away

# 10thank you all, there is always soemthing to make better, but i love the picture in this way it exists, but your critiqus are true. the highlight in the horizont , was something i wanted to see. ^^
i wanted something, that looks real, but not too real, something thats able to touch our feelings.
somethin theatrical.
i agree , the moon doestn look too good, but that was the thing i spendet the less time on it

# 11Hi, very nice image. Don't change anything. But you can delete the shadows on the moon, it'll be clearer.
