I finally decided to enter this really cool contest and here's my sketch.
I wanted to use a lot of characters and this is the best way I found to place them around.
I'll start modeling the characters first and I'll get back to this forum as soon as I can.
Actually, the last guy I modeled is the good guy.. and the guys on the other side of the river are the bad guys.. and the good guy looks at them like that .. because they can't reach him ..
And the dragon comes down and eats them all
wow this is cool, i really have no idea how to model cloth like that, i usually use simcloth or things things like that on a pre-rigged model, an then i animate until i have to pose i want..it is interesting to see the wireframe and study the folding of the cloth..
I finished modeling the environment scene, so here is an image. I will add a displacement map to a lot of stuff around.. to make it look more random and realistic. Also there will be a lot of grass and a foggy background image. And maybe I'll add a few more objects around, like plants and rocks.. if it looks too empty in the end.
I finished modeling pretty much everything. So I added a little troll, an orc and a 2-headed monster.
I also changed the lighting setup. Maybe I'll change it to something a lot darker in the end... to make it look more dramatic..
