With the creation of tools like MtoR, Liquid, MayaMan, etc. A lot of 3d artists are getting to taste the power of RenderMan rendering, however how many know what's realy going on after they click on "render"?

Here is a tutorial on using the basic command line tools that lie at the core of every renderman renderer. No one who labels himself/herself a RenderMan user can NOT know how to use these.
