I have almost all the Mindstorm sets. I use to "play" with a friend who just returned from the MIT media lab with hundreds of new blocks (you know the media lab created the mindstorms)...
Er, returning to your image. I think it's great but the difussion of the yellow head is too high.

You don't have to animate using your hi-res model, nobody animates using a hi-res model.
Use a proxy model intead.
